These terms apply to all users of the platform, including shippers (those listing items for shipping) and carriers (those providing shipping services). Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.
- “BudgetHauls” refers to BudgetHauls, the platform that connects shippers and carriers for transportation services.
- “Shipper” refers to any individual or entity listing items for shipment through the BudgetHauls platform.
- “Carrier” refers to any individual or entity providing transportation services for items listed on BudgetHauls.
- “User” refers to both shippers and carriers registered on BudgetHauls.
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use BudgetHauls. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
To use the services of BudgetHauls, you must register and create an account. During registration, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so may result in termination of your account.
For Carriers:
Shipper Responsibilities: Shippers are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of the items they wish to ship. Shippers must ensure their items are properly packaged and ready for transport as agreed upon with the carrier.
Carrier Responsibilities: Carriers must exercise reasonable care and skill in the transportation of goods. Carriers agree to deliver items within the agreed-upon time frame. Carriers are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Shippers are required to pay for the shipping services as agreed upon with the carrier. BudgetHauls facilitates the payment process. All fees associated with the service will be clearly outlined before a transaction is finalized.
BudgetHauls recommends that both shippers and carriers arrange for proper insurance coverage for the transportation of items. BudgetHauls is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during transportation.
Limitation of Liability: BudgetHauls acts solely as a facilitator between shippers and carriers and shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from the shipping services. Carriers are responsible for the items they transport, and shippers are responsible for ensuring that items are properly packed and ready for shipment.
BudgetHauls reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account at its sole discretion if a user violates these terms or engages in any activity deemed inappropriate or harmful to the platform.
By submitting content (such as reviews or feedback) to BudgetHauls, you grant BudgetHauls the right to use, modify, and display the content. You retain ownership of your content but agree to grant BudgetHauls a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it.
Any disputes arising from the use of BudgetHauls’ services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of an arbitration jurisdiction. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before resorting to arbitration.
BudgetHauls reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
